The Ardosia Slate Company is a family concern that has been involved in the production and use of slate since 1984 and has established strong links with producers in Brazil over a period of many years. On his latest visit, Managing Director Steve Pugsley, after months of searching and thousands of miles of driving over unclassified roads, has purchased and opened a new Black Slate Quarry. This means that Ardosia Slate will now be able to guarantee continuity of supply of their high quality Brazilian slate products and related services, to our customers. This control of the supply chain means that we can maintain the very keen prices that our customers demand.
We have a large facility in Barnstaple, North Devon which is dedicated to the storage and supply of our Brazilian slate products. Substantial stocks of the majority of our products are always held at our warehouse in the Southwest, to satisfy the requirements of both retail and trade customers.
