The company was founded in 1933 to supply the agricultural hardware and building trades from an old rope works in Victoria Street Bristol. A. F. Moon, one of the original directors was an influential member of the local business community and was Lord Mayor of Bristol in 1932. The company has been through many changes over the years and has been trading from its current location in Barton Hill for the last 16 years.
