Bruno Colombini began his porphyry extraction business in a small quarry in 1960, and he developed his Company by investing in the product itself and in stone processing. Since 1975 “Colombini Bruno S.r.l.” has expanded its market in Europe and in 1981 the Company owners set up “Europorfido e Graniti S.r.l.” at Pergine Valsugana, Italy, to offer on the market products of high quality and prestige.

This phase in the history of the two Companies, characterised by ever growing customer demand, is also marked by the type of investment made in the second half of the 90s: new quarries were acquired, both in Trentino, in Italy and in other parts of the world, with a consequent increase in production capacity.

The main facility in Trentino was expanded, acquiring new buildings and store yards, so that “Europorfido e Graniti S.r.l.” could offer customers a wide range of products from stock. Since 2002, the two Companies, “Colombini Bruno S.r.l.” and “Europorfido e Graniti S.r.l.” have joined to form Colombini S.p.A., and today thanks to the latest investments are supplying the world’s markets.
