Denfind Stone is a Scottish natural stone business based in Angus. The company is a family business and is headed up by husband and wife team Brian and Ali Binnie.

Brian has been farming at Denfind in Angus all his life and had the vision to create a Scottish stone business when he resurrected the Pitairlie Quarry on his land which had lain dormant for nearly 100 years. Pitairlie stone had been used widely throughout Scotland during the 18^th and 19^th centuries but, like so many British quarries, had closed during the early part of the 20^th century.

Initially the business supplied Pitairlie sandstone for local dry stone walling projects and building developments however the scope of projects and demand meant that Denfind Stone quickly expanded its offering.

Today, Denfind Stone is Scotland’s premier stone company supplying private individuals as well as many of the leading architecture firms, construction companies and organisations such as Historic Scotland and The National Trust for Scotland.

As well as supplying a comprehensive range of stone and masonry products Denfind Stone has a team of highly skilled stone masons and dykers led by our award winning master craftsman Dave Sinclair.
