East Coast Lumber & Building Supply Company, Inc. was started in East Hampstead, New Hampshire in 1976. Peter Lewis, of The Lewis Group of Companies, created the business to service the local communities with all their building needs. East Coast Lumber''s product lines now include lumber, hardware, kitchens and baths, millwork, rentals, other seasonal products and much more. We are a fair competitor in the market place and continue our dedication to outstanding customer service. In 1995, ownership was passed down through the family to Christine Lewis Morse, the sole proprietor. Christine has spent many years learning all aspects of the business. In December 2000, Christine Lewis Morse opened ECL Rentals, a tool and equipment repair shop with a small service and repair department. Over the last few years the store has grown to a full service sales, rental and repair shop fulfiiling the need within the local communities.
