Our company created in 1942 has 2 French stone quarries in the Burgundy area. We produce for more than 30 years the Buxy stone and the Comblanchien stone. They are hard stones used as well for inner linings as external. The Comblanchien stone is of colour plain beige or slightly speckled, with fine compact grains. The activity is primarily directed towards the production of ROUGH BLOCKS, SLABS, and PAVEMENT STONES for all works in the building sector. The aspect of the stone can be: polished, softened, bush-hammered or flamed. This stone has been extracted for more than 150 years and has been used in the whole world for the construction of many monuments and buildings. In Asia, it was recently used for the floor coverings in the « Financial Centre » tower in Taipei.
