Mocapor - Comércio e Indústria de Mármores, Lda was founded in 1992 by partners: Pedramoca - Sociedade Extractiva de Pedra, Lda and Mrs. Maria Fernanda do Rosário Carvalheiro Luís with the purpose of starting transformation and commerce of natural stones.Looking towards to the future, Mocapor is now committed in the business of transformation having made lately substantial investments in order to offer the best quality on the final products.A vast warehouse was built in July 1997 located on the Estrada Nacional No 1 in Ataíja de Baixo with covered area of 700 m2. In this place, professionals can find every kind of natural stones from limestone to marble and granites. Last November 2000, this warehouse has been amplified having now a Show room and a 1400 m2 deposit equipped with two 5 tons moving bridges.Looking around to the all world, after a nine-year experience, we supply natural stones to foreign countries in Asia, America and Europe.Products supplied by Mocapor can be seen on some projects and events such as: - Portugal Pavilion in the World Exhibition in Hanover 2000;- The cover stone of the Gallery of Contemporaneous Art in Hamburg (winner of the architecture award in 1999);- Supply for Expo'98 in Lisbon;- Stone exhibitions such as "SIROR" in Lisbon (Portugal), "Piedra Natural" in Madrid (Spain) and "Marmomacc" in Verona (Italy).
