LAVAGRIGIA This volcanic rock erupted from the Cimino mountain vulcano (Viterbo) about 1 to 1.5 million years ago. It was produced by the cooling of the liquid lava and provides the basis of an ignimbrite. Thanks to the high temperature at which it forms
