Colour: Dark grey with thin grey-white veins
Petrografic name (according to EN 12407): Marble
Macroscopic description: A compact aphanitic-grained lithotype of a dark grey colour, with a non-homogeneous structure and heterogeneous colour due to the contrast of dark grey areas with other lighter grey areas ranging from millimetric to pluricentimetric in size. There are white intersecting veins of varying thicknesses (up to millimetric), the grain of which is phaneritic in places and slender veins composed of concentrations of micrometric opaque minerals.
