George Jacob Exports are granite sourcing, buying, and inspection agent of high repute. Mr. George Jacob started his career as a Sourcing Agent for Aug. Latiers Company in 1989. He worked with the esteemed group of Latiers for 12 years till 2001 when the company closed. From 1994. Mr. Jacob started working with Mr. Heinz Bose of M/s. Naturstein, Germany for the sourcing, inspection and quality control of their requirement of rough blocks and monuments of Granite. Due to his long association with these international large companies, Mr. Jacob has gained rich experience, wide knowledge and developed expertise in the highly important and intricate activities of selection and quality control. Very few people can claim to have this kind of experience, skill, competence and reliability. The full gamut of activities right from locating the suitable product, identifying the proper suppliers, carrying out the negotiations to arranging the procurement, inspection, quality control and logistics are managed efficiently under a single umbrella to the entire satisfaction of the client. The company has handled 139 Cubic Meters of Granite Blocks last year. The annual turnover of the company is Rs.15 million and it has executed export orders for various countries, namely, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, Belgium, Holland and France. To more effectively and carefully use his experience of over 14 years he has set up a Granite Processing Unit for the production of thick granite slabs for monuments. The processing unit has been established in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu on a large complex of 3.5 acres. The unit, commissioned in May, 2003 has a production capacity of 600 Square Meters per month of granite slabs upto 3.5 Mtr. Length and 1.7 Mtr. Height. The quality of the granite slabs and timely supply is totally guaranteed.
