Terra Viva specializes in manufacturing floors, medallions, borders, sinks and table tops, through the re-assembling and combining together of ancient materials. Our manufacturing facilities are located in Umbria Italy, where virtually unlimited supplies of salvaged and reclaimed building materials are available. Thanks to the combination of various reclaimed materials we can today offer a piece of history to decorate your surroundings. In doing so, we like to think that we continue the never-ending cycle of life, where: "nothing is lost forever, but instead is reborn again in a new and different form" (*) Our table tops, floors, borders, medallions, sinks are all an expression and application of this philosophy. Thanks to the acquisition of Antica Manifattura Umbra in 2001, we were able to acquire an inventory consisting of old tiles and classical moldings accumulated over 150 years of activity. With Antica Manifattura Umbra, Terra Viva Group can now also manufacture handmade tiles, made by using ancient Medieval and Renaissance manufacturing techniques, such as ingobbio and intarsio. On top of this, getting the "argilla" clay from the same Medici quarry in Tuscany and using the same designs and manufacturing techniques, made possible to recreate the same look of Tuscany and Umbria architecture and to continue a millenary tradition. Thanks to this acquisition we can offer a full range of home decorating products, from floor and wall tiles to architectural elements, statues, fireplaces and much more.
