The 7th China-EU Partenariat, one of the main features of the 13th West China International Fair, will be held in Chengdu, Sichuan province, from Sept 25 to 27. 

Having the theme, "Exchange and Cooperation, Innovation and Development", the event will feature an array of important international conferences including the China-EU Business Cooperation Roundtable, a CEOs roundtable on strategies for Chinese enterprises venturing into the European market and a session on technology transfers between China and the EU.

"Nearly 500 companies from China and European countries will be in one-to-one business talks and conclude deals in the bio-medical, alternative energy and environmental conservation and e-information industries," said Hou Xiongfei, chief of the Sichuan provincial government information office.

The event is being sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Sichuan provincial government.
