The Fujian Chamber of Commerce of Hardware & Electric Machinery will host the first Cross-Straits Development Summit Forum of H&E Machinery on Oct 20 in Quanzhou, Fujian province.
Leading figures in the sector will be invited in an effort to enhance trade exchange and boost development of the electric machinery market west of the Straits. The summit also seeks to strengthen strategic cooperation and promote scientific progress and innovation. It aims to establish Quanzhou as a leader in economic exchange with Taiwan.
The Fujian Chamber of Commerce of H&E Machinery, directly under the Trade Union Confederation of Fujian province, administrates over 300 enterprise members and six branch chambers, including over 700 enterprises in the province. Over 70 of the enterprises are Taiwan-funded. The enterprises contribute billions of yuan in taxes each year.
Founded in September 2002, the chamber follows the member-oriented principle of “making friends, collecting information, extending channels, disseminating good reputation and gathering financial resources.” It follows the spirit of “solidarity, exchange, expansion and service.” The chamber serves as a channel to promote scientific development of hardware and electric machinery, strengthen the wholesale market and make significant contributions to exchange across the Straits.
