Established in Saint-Salvy-de-la-Balme since 1978, Carries PLO have a particularly favourable site situated at the heart of the Sidobre massif at their disposal. Through the company A.T.M. (Art et Technique du Marble) the considerable growth in block production has been accompanied by the development of activity in the areas of sawing and polishing thick slabs and, over the past few years, by diversification in the field of marble extraction in Sarrancolin. The two companies, Carries PLO plc and A.T.M. - a family owned company are directed by Jean-Pierre PLO, their founder.All activities included, Jean-Pierre PLO employs over 50 people, of which over 30 quarry workers.
