Our stone products after on-site surface cleaning (e.g. nigh-pressure water jet), then after eventual chipping are installed. The extent of chipping, in which case we have to reckon with loss (5-20 % spoilage), depends on the dimension of jointing, surface appearance and style. Three major modes of installing are discerned: 1. Vertical facing a) In case of 2-5 cm thick facing: Because of the given, limited facing space application is recommended onto prefabricated structures (e.g.: masonry construction, concrete structures, fences built of casing-stone, etc, ) using binding technology. It is important to choose the proper indirect materials (e.g. flexible bonding material for outdoor use) and adherence to technological orders, layer orders prescribed by us. b) Over 5 cm thickness: It can be used for existing structures (e.g. heat insulated masonries, retaining walls, concrete structures), starting from foundation with fine concrete as thick facing. In the case of installing above 1-2m height it is necessary to mount a concrete steel mesh fastened by doweling, particularly when it will be mounted onto heat-insulation. Before staring the stonework founding or supporting (e.g. console) is necessary in every case. 2. It might be built as a structure It might be applied fir erecting independent structures, fences, retaining walls and footings. Resulting from their thick dimensions, after chipping, with cement-mortar used a bonding material built onto each other from both sides, then after the setting of mortar the space behind is made with continuous casting-in. It does not require any prefabricated structure; however, before beginning the stone working a founding is required. Pay attention to achieve depth of founding below frost line. 3. As horizontal cladding, as treading surface In case of garden walkways it is enough to place it in the compacted soil, then to lay turf carpet around them. This is the turf-gap laying method.
