A P STEN is the largest enterprice in Sweden working with stone. The companies in the group are operating in the whole range of activities in the business of stone. Block stone Block stone, of granite and Swedish Diabas, comes from ten quarries owned by our companies. Absolute Black Diabas is one of the most wellknown Swedish materials. The red granite, Vanga red, is quarred in the south of Sweden and is well known in manu countries. The grey Champagne granite is used for monument and as building stone material for external purposes. Block stone is exported from Sweden to other European coutries and to Asia. The groupe also owns companies i Poland and Lithuania. Block stone is sold under the name SVIMPEX. External building stone External building stone includes kerb- and paving stone, stone for various types of walls, stone paving slabs and pillars. Products in Swedish granite or limestone are produced in our own stonemasonries. The products are complemented with stones produced in China, Portugal and India. Our company in Norway makes products in R?yken- and Iddefjords granite. Interior building stone Interior building stone includes floor tiles, stairs, counter tops, window benches and facings. Skilled staff, with long experience of granite, limestone and marble is working in our modern stonemasonries. We have our own quarries and production facilities for ?landssten limestone.
