RIO SEGRAN was founded in 1992, when two major Brazilian companies in the natural stone industry merged.
In order to meet the rising demand and increase production capacity, RIO SEGRAN has expanded its industrial site, which is currently comprised of two plants in Duque de Caxias.
       Six Brazilian and two brand-new Italian gang saws, two polishing machines with 22 heads and a resin oven, all the latest technology available, allow the production of 50.000m2 of slabs by month, polished under rigid quality controls.
      Since it was founded, RIO SEGRAN has been a significant presence in the national market as a supplier of marbles originating from different countries including Italy, Spain, Greece and Turkey, with average imports of 300 containers per year.
