In their Avenza-Carrara factory, SA.GE.VAN MARMI markets and processes all the white and “coloured” marbles of the Gemignani & Vanelli company extracted from the Calocara A-102 Quarry in Carrara. The two companies, which are distinct and fully autonomous, actually belong to the same family group. The factory also supplies other types of marble and natural stones, including the White Marbles of the Covelano-Bolzano Quarry (see samples), for which the company has exclusive rights in the provinces of Massa-Carrara and Lucca.

SA.GE.VAN MARMI specializes in the production of marble slabs. The processing cycle, which takes place entirely within the factory premises, is founded on state-of-the-art technology and business efficiency, i.e. maximum yield of blocks; processing and surface finish versatility; slabs and tiles viewable on computer-screen and traceable back to their blocks of provenance. Blocks are displayed in the open in a yard measuring ten thousand square metres. Our 40- and 80-bladed stainless steel gang saws, mono- blade gang saws, polishing line and “UV” surface treatments make for an extremely high production standard.. Slabs are stored indoors in an area measuring approx four thousands square metres. Finished products, like floor and wall tiles, comprising SA.GE.VAN MARMI's actual sample collection, are on show in the company's six hundred square metres of office space, on the factory premises.

The company also carries out “finished” arrangements and can display preview layouts in special display frames.
