V.Fontanili s.r.l. has always been a leading comopany in the stone sector.The considerable variety materials stocked and worked has made it necessary to use the latest high-tech equipment which quarantees the manufacturing of high quality finished products at all times,achieving at the same time an increase in productivity and a consequent reduction in costs.The company is currently equipped with all the most modern machinery for working marble.
      The company has a diamond wire saw and a sing-blade saw for squaring the blocks.This operantion allows the slabs to be stocked easily and,at the same time,enables the material to be better displayed.Our own gangsaws allow us to saw most of the material ourselves,in particular those special,precious types which represent V.Fontanili's strong point.
      A complete resin finishing line of the latest generation enables us to work those materials,such as onyx,which are generally more fragile.The plant,which is located in the Via Piave factory,carries out a cycle of meshing and resining of the slabs to consolidate the material which,after being treated,is perfectly sound,without defects and ready for the final finishing phase.
      The company uses its own in-house polishing plant for marble for finishing the slabs thus quaranteeing that the end product is always of the highest quality.As well as the normal polished and honed finishes,V.Fontanili s.r.l.offers a vast range of alternative surface finishes,such as sanded,brushed and also an antique finish using a new process which has the advantage of maintaning the original colour of the material.
