Its remarkable portfolio is based on Hamburg’s strong industrial clusters. Events include SMM, the world’s leading maritime industry fair; INTERNORGA, Europe’s leading trade fair for the hotel and food service sectors; and other large-scale events such as hanseboot, the Hamburg International Boat Show. They are forums for innovation and communication, an international meeting place for decision makers and experts. Hamburg Messe also hosts major events for consumers and the general public, such as the travel show REISEN HAMBURG and HansePferd, the international exhibition for horse enthusiasts. These events attract a large audience to Hamburg with a wide range of products, services and high-quality supporting programmes. The Fair is also the venue for important guest events, for example for the aviation industry and for renewable energies.
