According to the statistics of Xiamen Dongdu Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, the first quarter of this year, the import volume of stones at Dongdu port kept stable growth, importing stones 3334 batch, 810900 tons in total, respectively rising 8.3% and 17.4% year-on-year.

It's known that strong market demand is the main reason of import stones keeping increasing. After many years of growth and accumulation, Xiamen has been the largest stone distribution center, sales center, and supplying center in the world, collecting more than 1000 kinds of high-end stones all around the world, having more than 1200 stone import and export companies, controlling stone source of 6000 stone processing factories around Xiamen. Xiamen Dongdu has become a global stone trade center. Dongdu port relys on its geographical advantages to improve its radiation ability to Hercynian and even the whole country stone processing industry.
