Keep bathrooms fitted with cultured marble vanities, showers and tubs looking fresh and new with proper care. Cultured marble, a mix of fiberglass resin and crushed limestone, is a durable, easy to maintain surface that just needs regular cleaning with an occasional light polish. Because cultured marble is a man-made composite, chips and scratches can be repaired and polished away.

Things You'll Need:
Squeegee, All-purpose cleaner, Soft cloth, Vinegar

Instructions

1. Squeegee off any water after taking a shower in a cultured marble shower surround to avoid water spots. If any hard water stains do occur, wipe away with a vinegar soaked cloth.

2. Spray your sink, countertop, shower or tub with an all-purpose cleaner and gently wipe down with a soft damp cloth. Always keep cultured marble wet when cleaning it.

3. Spray non-abrasive cleaner on tough dirt or shower floors and leave on for five minutes. Scrub the loosened soil with a soft bristled brush and rinse the shower thoroughly.

4. Polish your cultured marble with a light car wax or countertop wax, if the marble becomes dull.

Tips & Warnings

Scratches in cultured marble can be repaired by a professional.

Never use any kind of abrasive cleanser on cultured marble. Do not use any type of scrubbing sponge or steel wool. Cultured marble scratches easily.
