Yesterday, Nanhui Stree in Lucheng District combined the District Management Office, Enforcement Directorate and Wenzhou Local Railway Co., Ltd to begin to legally pull down the illegal market. The Area pulled down is more than 3000 sqm, and the plan to pull down will be completed at the end of September.
East Station Stone Market has been 5 years since it was built. The initial Construction Engineering Provisional License has been exceeded the time limit since 2009. Now, although the Market is an illegal building, shopkeepers’ have signed up the contracts with valid day to the end of this year. In order to stop the illegal building to damage city environment and image, a few days ago, Nanhui Street and Wenzhou Railway Co., Ltd came to the market and mobilized shopkeepers to remove from the market. However, most of shops are selling stones such as marble, which is difficult to remove and relocate, so there are still 40 shops which are unwilling to remove.
In the end, Nanhui Street and Wenzhou Railway negotiated with shopkeepers that they would pull down the left illegal steel sheds in batches. Meanwhile, a new-built stone market is located in the opposite side of Huanglong Commercial Town, and the market also will accept shops to solve the difficulty of East Station Stone Market.
