Xiamen has another first in the world! According to the statistical data from Xiamen Commercial Bureau, it shows that relying on the stone material resources advantage of Fujian, the stone material in Xiamen is developing rapidly. Xiamen port has become the largest trade center in the world, the trade volume of stone material accounted for more than 60% in our country, and accounted for about 15% of the global proportion.

According to the data, the stone import and export was 13.54 million tons in Xiamen port in 2011, about $4.07 billion, an increase of 13.7%. The export was 6.83 million tons, the value is $2.94 billion, which is in more than 15% increase; the import was 6.71 million tons, the value is $1.13 billion with more than 9.9% increase.

As we have learned, Xiamen has four large block distributing centre and sales market at present, which concentrated all kinds of high quality stone material around the world, over 1000 types, more than 50% of senior granite were from Brazil, more than 60% of the Indian granite block , more than 30% of the Turkish marble block and more than 80% of the Bianco Teseo, Cream Marfil in Xiamen distribution, processing and export, perennial dynamic pile up on the ten million tons.

At the same time, Xiamen has more than 1200 stone import and export enterprises which control the recourse from Xiamen and peripheral more than 6000 stone material processing factory. Moreover, the quality of Xiamen stone processing is in the world first-class, which boasts the largest state-owned stone equipment manufacture factory, the office and branch of the major stoneion country in the global.

Although the global economy has a great influence on the stone industry, but the scale of the 12th Xiamen international stone fair on March 6 wasn’t reduce, but increase , the stone fair attracted 1500 enterprises from 52 countries and regions of the global, the scale was close to the  first big stone fair in the world -- Verona stone fair in Italy.
