According to the monitoring data showed that in the first half of 2012, theion of natural marble building slab reached 55.845 million square meters, a year-on-year increase of 26.64%. In June, theion of natural building is 13.39 million square meters, a year-on-year increase of 43.61%.

For the production from all provinces and cities, in the first half of 2012, the first three provinces and cities for the production of natural marble building slab in China were Fujian province, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and Shandong province, where respectively accounted for 35.35%, 19.97% and 6.91% of the total volume.
