The new economic area of Eurasian lies in intersection between East and West — the consumption area of Europe, Central Asia and Middle East, which is a new market approved by people. Turkey is located in the central area of this new market and is also one of the oldest marble producing countries in the world with more than 4000 years history.
 
In the past few years, Turkey has been one of the biggest marble export countries in the world with its stable development of stone industry. Currently, there are more than 1, 000 mines and 290 varieties in which more than 280 of them belong to nature stone series. The mains are limestone and onyx. In Turkey, there are about 1, 500 factories working in stone processing, more than 7, 500 stone trade companies and 250, 000 people working for this industry.
 
Long before 1995, the stone volume of export is only 7.7 million dollars in Turkey, while in 2006, the volume had broken through 1 billion dollars and the whole stone export volume of the country even rose to 1.7 billion dollars.

With the rapid development of economy in northern China, the demand of imported stone rise dramatically. Therefore, in face of the mature stone market in south China, northern Chinese market has a great demand for Turkish stone.
 
There would be 26 Turkish enterprises attending Stone QD2013 with almost all kinds of stone varieties. The enormous Turkey Pavilion will show their unique charm.
