The 13th China (Shuitou) International Stone Fair was held in Shuitou Stone Exhibition Centre on Nov 9th. The Stone Fair was held by Fujian Provincial People’s Government, co-held by Fujian Provincial Economic and Trade Commission, Fujian Provincial Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, QuanZhou Municipal People’s Government, Nanan People’s Government. The Fair is themed by “Low-carbon, Innovation, Brand, the World”. The exhibits mainly show new stone technologies, new products, high-end brand and the low-carbon and cultural stone industry. Meanwhile, stone equipments, maintenance, building ceramic, plumbing equipments, and other decorative materials also were exhibited. The fair combines stone products expo, technology communication, research, and trade negotiation.

The base of Fair improves further. As the global stone manufacturing and trading center, the location of Stone Fair – Nanan, has a good foundation for the fair. There are more than 1500 stone companies in Nanan, including 233 large-scale companies. The output reached 22.153b CNY in 2011, and annual total output of slabs reached 0.21b sq.m., which make Nanan be the largest stone manufacturing and exporting base and most full range of stone in China even in the world.
The level of the Fair upgrades further. The Stone Fair has 6990 boosts in this year, and the exhibiting area reached 362 thousand sq.m., which is have the most boosts and largest scale in domestic stone fair.
The content of the Fair gets richer. The Stone Fair in this year held designer’s salon, stone industry forum, stone developing summit, low-carbon housing exhibition, etc.
The topic of environmental protection highlights more. The Stone Fair in this year will focus in Nanan circular stone economy through using stone waste, stone ballast, etc.
The influence of brand gets wider. The Stone Fair in this year has many visitors and agents from Europe, Middle-East, USA, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, India, and Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau, etc. Also, about 1500 companies specialized in quarrying, stone equipments participated the Fair.
