Because of instable global situation and continued slump in export market, it is necessary to change business model and open new market for many export-driven stone enterprises. Compared with weak global market, the domestic market has a large need. According to the statistics in past years, about 90% of domestic stone outputs were consumed in domestic market. As typical ultimate consumers, the first-tier cities such as Beijing and Shanghai and their surrounding areas have large stone needs which can’t be ignored from the range of large project to housing decoration.

According reports, Beijing along will have about 200 focused construction projects with 1047.3 billion Yuan of total investment in following two years. With addition of the industrial development in Bohai Rim and Northeast of China, and the new economic area plan in north-central China, it is no doubt that they will strengthen developing power for stone market expansion in northern area.
