Haicang Got New Peak on Imported Stone in January

According to data from Haicang Entry-exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, it totally accepted 1329 patches of imported stone customs inspection in January 2013, which accounted to 412.6 thousand ton, and valued to 74243.3 thousand dollars, respectively increasing 63.87%, 61.55% and 64.18% year-on-year. It shows Haicang got new peak on imported stone in January.

The imported stones at Haicang Port are mainly from 31 countries and regions including Turkey, Italy, Egypt, Spain, Finland, Norway, Brazil, Portugal, etc. Among that, imported marbles are 1150 patches, accounted to 349.9 thousand ton, respectively increasing 79.41% and 81.11% year-on-year. The imported granites are 179 patches and 62.7 thousand ton, respectively increasing 20.13% and 16.26% year-on-year.
