China Xiamen International Stone Fair, which was just the Asia Top Stone Fair in last year, has gone beyond the MARMOMACC and the Stone+tec, Nuremberg to be the professional stone fair with the largest scale and the most exhibitors around the world.

As journalist known, the 13th China Xiamen International Stone Fair will be held in Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center from March 6th to 9th. Both the total exhibition area and international exhibition area increased by 40%, which jump to the first rank in the world.

Although the scale increased by 40%, the demand still exceeds supply

The exhibition area this year covers about 160 thousand square meters, increasing 45 thousand square meters than last year. Among that, the oversea standard booths are 8250, increasing 2350 than last year. 2000 companies from 54 countries/regions come for exhibiting the Fair.

According to the organizing committee’s words, this year’s Fair makes the Conference and Exhibition Center be filled to capacity. Except the 3 halls will be used, the structure of the front square will be optimized. The outdoor exhibiting space was expanded from 11000 square meters to 24000 square meters. The whole scale of the Fair expands 40% which is beyond the other stone fairs in the world.

The level of internationalization is unprecedented

The oversea exhibition space of Xiamen International Stone Fair 2013 is 32 thousand square meters, which means it expanded 9000 square meters than last year and it increased by 40%.

The amount of exhibitors also is the No.1 in the world. It increases 500 exhibitors based on last year. Among that, the amount of domestic exhibitors increases by 34%, and the oversea increases by 29%. It is known that the exhibitors in this year’s Fair represent the highest level of the global stone industry. The most influential brand enterprises at home and abroad will come to Xiamen.

The exhibitors from 13 countries including Italy, Turkey, Greece, and Brazil expand their scale in succession. Besides, many new exhibitors from Croatia, Romania, Tunisia, and Belgium, etc will exhibit their blockbuster products, which will be a nice view in the Fair.

It’s expected the visitors will be more than 130 thousand people

In 2012, stone industry faced great challenge under the situation of depressed global economy. The organizing committee focused on the emerging market such as the Eastern Europe, the North Africa, the Central Asia, and the Southeast Asia. Meanwhile, the organizing committee took an active part in the MARBLE (INTERNATIONAL NATURAL STONE AND TECHNOLOGY FAIR) and the COVERINGS etc more than 20 international stone and building fairs, and built good relationship to help the Xiamen International Stone Fair hold better.
