It is known that Guangdong Stone Standardization Technical Committee is allowed to establish by Administration of Quality and Technology Supervision of Guangdong Province. It is Guangdong regional standardization organization, and it is responsible for related technical work of stone products standardization in the whole Guangdong Province. The Committee will be positive in following and absorbing foreign advanced producing technology and standards method, to start the R&D of new project and technologies, to communicate and cooperate with foreign related organizations and institutions, to gradually improve Guangdong stone industry standardization system, to promote stone processing enterprises to improve technical level, to weed out outdated technology and speed up the process of keeping line with the international standards, to further improve the overall level of stone industry.
Guangdong Stone Standardization Technical Committee formally established in Yunfu on March 22nd. This is the first provincial stone standardization committee in Guangdong Province. As a incubator of drafting stone industry standard and a technical platform to promote indigenous innovation, the Committee will serve for building stone brands and leading stone industry improvement.
