The granite distribution area in Dunhuang City is about 600 square kilometers, and the total reserve reaches 36 billion cubic meters. In recent year, Dunhuang City powerfully carried the stone resources quarrying and processing forward relying on its rich granite resources.
Dunhuang City will further stretch its stone industry chain and increase the intensity of resource development in this year.
Develop Granite Industry Chain
Dunhuang City will bring in a project of dealing with a million m³ of granite waste, and speed up building the production line of special accessories processing, to realize the change from granite raw material to tiles & slabs and artificial stone. In the end, the industry chain of “granite – tiles & slabs (special accessories) – artificial stone” will be formed.
