Most of the trade visitors – in particular stonemasons, natural stone dealers, tile setters, garden designers and landscapers as well as architects – came to Nuremberg from the core area of Stone+tec: Germany, Austria and Switzerland and the neighbouring European regions. The list of exhibitors was led by Germany, with over 200 companies, followed by China, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Austria, Egypt, India and Turkey.

“Stone+tec Nürnberg has flourished for more than three decades in a global market characterized by strong regional accents and an array of challenges,” said Willy Viethen, Exhibition Director of Stone+tec at NürnbergMesse. “We are convinced that with the 2013 event and its clear focus on the German-speaking part of the world we have taken an imp0rtant step towards adapting this tradition-rich industry event to the requirements of today’s market.”
