
(September 2013) "Lithic Tree" is the name Prof. Giuseppe Fallacara of Bari University and executing French-based SNBR Company gave his construction idea suitable even for exhibition halls. Natural stone modules can be interlocked with the aid of stressed steel ropes through the middle of the elements.

Trials with prototypes have already been successfully tested for stress, as can be seen on Facebook.
"Lithic Bridge" is the name designer Raffaello Galiotto together with engineer Alessandro Serafini gave their construction idea which also uses steel ropes for stability. The idea was realized by Lithos Design which already caused raised eyebrows in hall 7b last year with its monumental stone hoop.

"Opus-Motus" by Raffaello Galiotto and Lithos Design is awaited with great suspense. The work comprises a large rotating disk upon which stone elements of various colors are arranged. Once in motion the kaleidoscope colors blend into one another.
The project called "Flexible Stone" shows a number of design works from the University Ferrara the aim of which was to develop new domestic products for interior and exterior use in natural stone.
"Marmomacc LAB" will provide a route through the trade fair where visitors can interact with the stone directly, according to a press release.
And this news just in: "Teltos Light & Fluid" is the name of engineered stone by Italian based Romaxx company produced in China which will be presented in Hall 10 Stand D6. The material is not only "available in a range of colors, it is also flexible" according to a press release.
